"This is just the type of class I was looking for. It's fun and relaxed. The classes are not held in classrooms and the groups are very small so learning does not feel like a chore. The atmosphere is informal but teaching is professional and our lovely teacher, Ana, is really encouraging. I'm very happy to be learning the type of Spanish that would actually be useful travelling or living in a Spanish speaking country. There is a good balance of spoken and written Spanish. I had thought I wanted to do only conversation but find the written is a really good way of learning phrases for conversation too. I was a bit worried I would be nervous about trying to speak in Spanish in the class and getting it all wrong but the atmosphere is so non-judgmental, it's fun just having a go and doesn't matter at all about mistakes.
