Our Events

At Language Connections, we believe that personal contact with our students is important. To promote this we incorporate and host two annual big events, our Christmas Party and Summer Party . Here we encourage engagement and interaction where all our students are invited to meet their online teachers, classmates as well as native speakers of the languages they are learning . This allows our students have other opportunities to practise the language in a real conversation in a fun, relaxed and sociable environment.

Throughout the years we have had successful dinner parties where our students could enjoy a delicious meal with their classmates and teachers as well as practise Spanish with the invited native speakers from Spain and Latin America. This has allowed our learners not only to practise the language but also to learn about Spanish and Hispanic different cultures. But most importantly, we have built and strengthened a community where we find like-minded people to share our language journeys.

Catch Up Evenings

The languages catch-up nights are another more informal opportunity to convert theory to practice where we meet to have a drink in a local pub, meet our classmates as well as practise the languages with our teachers, classmates and invited native speakers. These are opportunities to meet really warm and open minded people eager to practise the languages they are learning.
