Level A1 (Beginners 1)
The students can understand and use everyday expressions and very basic phrases that are frequently used to satisfy concrete needs. Students are able to understand dates, times, numbers, ask for places/directions, place orders. Students can also introduce themselves and others, ask and answer about personal details such as where h/she lives, people they know and things they have. All in all, they will be able to interact in a simple way provided the other person talks slowly and clearly.
Level A2 (Beginners 2)
Students can understand sentences and frequently used expressions about subjects of most immediate relevance such as shopping, family, employment, etc. They can also communicate about their background and environment. They start learning about different past tenses in French. Therefore, they can speak about their past experiences, what they have done in their lives and how their lives used to be in different stages.
Level B1 (Intermediate)
The students can understand and produce sentences about personal interests or familiar topics such as situations at work, school or leisure. They can deal with most situations likely to arise while traveling in an area where the language is spoken. They can also describe experiences, events, aspirations, dreams and ambitions, and explain their opinions. Students consolidate their knowledge about different past tenses and learn a new and complex topic: the subjunctive. After B1 they have a large understanding about the French language and will have already a very good level to start functioning in a professional level of the language.
Level B2 (Upper-Intermediate)
Students master the last grammar contents and enrich largely their vocabulary. They can understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in their field of specialization. Students can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. Also, they can produce clear, detailed texts on wide range of subjects and explain a viewpoint on a topical issue giving the advantages and disadvantages of various options.
C1 (Advanced)
The students are able to understand a wide range of demanding, longer clauses, and recognise implicit meaning. They can express ideas fluently and spontaneously without much obvious searching of expressions. They can use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes. They can also produce clear, well -structured, detailed texts on complex subjects, showing controlled use of organisational patterns, connectors and cohesive devices.
C2 (Advanced)
Students are able to understand with ease almost everything heard or read. They can summarize information from different spoken and written sources, re-creating them in coherent summary or presentation. Students can express themselves spontaneously, very fluently and precisely, differentiating finer shades of meaning in the most complex situations.

This follows the Common European Framework of Reference, where we will guide you from level A1 (Beginners 1) up to C2 (Advanced).
Our live online courses offer the same high quality teaching as in-person courses.

These courses will be delivered according to the students' current level.
